Some of the greatest enemies we have in life are fear and worry. We worry about this, we worry about that. We worry whether there will be bad news. We begin to be anxious and fret over things which develop in our minds and cause the fears to get even greater. Guilt is a great enemy. Because of guilt for past sins, we often become fearful and worry about these.
What if?
What if I don’t get the job?
What if I fail the exam?
What if I can’t pay my taxes?
What if I can’t meet my bills?
All of these are enemies of our peace. These are only some of the ways in which fear attacks us. Fear has many entry points and causes confusion, stress, ulcers, suicide, rejection. Fear is a great enemy.
